We live in an amazing part of the world!

Manly is world-famous for its beaches, its bushland, and its rich aboriginal history. It’s also the birthplace of modern surfing, having hosted the world’s first surfing competition in 1964. It’s a major drawcard for Sydney, attracting up to 8 million visitors a year.

And while we share this beautiful place with the world, we also need to keep in mind that Manly is the home of 55,000 residents. As our population grows, preserving Manly’s unique character and history while managing the demands of a growing community is a challenge. That’s where you come in.

At Good for Manly, we believe in the power of community. We’re here to represent you, to keep you informed about the local issues that matter, and to ensure your voice is always heard.

From protecting our natural and historical landmarks to supporting local businesses, improving public spaces, and ensuring essential services are delivered, our decisions are guided by the needs of Manly’s residents.

Together, we can build a thriving community that inspires generations to come. Our team of volunteers, assisted by the Northern Beaches Council, are working hard to get things done and we welcome your feedback and involvement.
