We are excited to launch this new series, starting this month with

'Young Minds, Strong Futures: Navigating Life, Study and your Next Move', on Wed 19 Feb at Balgowlah Village Bean Obsessed Cafe, 6.15pm-7.15pm

We're kicking off the series this month and we're taking on a biggie. Mental health.

Whether you’re in High School, or starting an apprenticeship, University or full-time work, change is constant and can feel like a wild rollercoaster – but you don’t have to ride it alone!

What’s on the agenda?

✨Expert advice to help you navigate the school year, or the transition to university or work, with confidence.
✨Practical tips to manage stress and focus on you.
✨Real talk about youth mental health on the Northern Beaches and why your wellbeing matters.

We’re thrilled to welcome Georgie Furze, 2024 Local Woman of the Year and powerhouse in the mental health space. As a keynote speaker, life coach, mentor, athlete, and community ambassador, Georgie specialises in connection. Through her transformative approach, she helps people overcome challenges, nurture meaningful relationships, and break free from limiting habits. Her strong will, passion for life, and commitment to personal growth make her a true inspiration.

Joining Georgie is Craig Stevens, CEO of LocalKind Northern Beaches. With over 15 years of experience in mental health and community services, Craig has dedicated his career to leading and developing trauma-informed support for vulnerable individuals. LocalKind Northern Beaches tackles critical issues like homelessness, domestic violence, and refugee settlement, while offering early intervention programs that empower families, youth, and children. Craig’s leadership and hands-on community involvement make him a vital voice in shaping resilience and fostering well-being. Hosted by Good For Manly’s Vice President Taylah Schrader, this is your chance to connect, learn, and walk away with tools to navigate life, study and whatever 2025 throws at you head-on. Join us for a night that’s all about YOU and your journey towards a strong, thriving future. Follow us on socials and register for your free seat at  https://events.humanitix.com/manly-youth-talks
