New Opening Hours - Manly Art Gallery
Manly Art Gallery and Museum is trying something new and from March will be opening on Tuesday nights. Then from April, Gallery will be open on nights on the first Thursday of each month. The Gallery will be opened until 8pm on these evenings from March 8th. Jackie Dunn, Manly Art Gallery director said that they’re focusing on getting people who don’t normally have chance or time to come into the gallery. Balgowlah School for Seniors

With over 20kms of dedicated bike paths and off road trails, Manly caters for all levels of riders. This is an opportunity for residents to hold a garage sale on the Saturday before their General Clean Up collection. Manly residents have two opportunities a year to host garage sales in their own Zone and can shop at 14 sales a year throughout Manly’s Local Government Area. It’s FREE to participate and Manly Council will advertise your garage sale in the Manly Daily and supply you with a Second Hand Saturday Info Kit and posters. Recently undergone a revamp, this Visitors Centre is well worth a visit. Admission is free. Monday to Thursday 10am to 2pm *Fridays ( usually stays open in the evening until 9pm) Weekends Saturday open 10am-9pm, Sunday open 10am -4pm. Regular Q Station buses take people from the bus stop/carpark entrance at the top, through the site and down hill to the Wharf Precinct. The buses are free of charge. Every Sunday. Want to get the underground story on Sydney's defence history? Take a 45 minute guided tour by former soldiers through WWII tunnels, gun emplacements & more at North Fort. Throughout the year something exciting is happening at the Gallery, every Sunday afternoon at 3pm at Manly Art Gallery. Sundays @ the gallery features a guided tour by one of the Gallery's trained guides, a curator's talk, artists' talk, soiree, concert or performance. In most cases there is no need to book.
