Our campaign is gaining momentum with huge community support. While State Transport MInister Andrew Constance initially said that only one ferry would be saved, now it's likely to be two. That's an improvement, but not enough. Manly Liberal MP James Griffin has also joined the fight to save the iconic vessels, saying he wants to save two boats, and more if possible. Here's an ongoing poll conducted by the Sydney Morning Herald which shows clearly that people want to keep the whole fleet. It's not a scientific study, but it's had over 1300 votes, and mirrors what we hear on the ground. Read the Herald article titled 'Second Freshwater Ferry could be saved by Christmas'.

Please let me know how I can get involved to help save the ferries. Not just for me, for Sydney siders but for the international tourists we will be desperately trying to get back after covid

The Manly Ferry has been a happy remembrance since my childhood and now I am fortunate to see the "stately ladies" passing my door. In this troubled time they are a sight for sore eyes; if the Ferry is still plying the Harbour all will be well!
